Call it “primitive futurism,” says Susan Dietrich Schneider about her work. Since the early 70s she was busy as a street musician by the name of The Space Lady for about three decades. In 2013 her only cassette was re-released as an album; only after that did she start playing her first concerts in clubs. Earning a steadily growing cult following ever since, The Space Lady was finally able to show her music to the world, touring all over Europe and the US in a regular basis. The Californian artist is almost 70 in the meanwhile, but her voice is still as clear as a bell. With a winged astronaut helmet on her head, she covers “Major Tom” by Peter Schilling and Steppenwolf’s “Born To Be Wild” and sings her own songs about the journey into space and the desire for enlightenment in the earthly world.

After having toured successfully all around the world with her "Greatest Hits" record she felt it was time to record new songs, and so did she. In 2018 Bongo Joe and Mississipi Records released "On The Street Of Dreams"
